With over ten years experience in Press Relations, a
broad base of skills and expertise has been developed in business to business and business to consumer programmes. Leaving
Agency life back in 2002, I have since worked with Clients, PR Freelancers and Agencies providing robust PR support at all
levels. Tackling projects with a logical and common sense approach always with
set objectives in mind have seen Agencies continue to re-approach me to help out with new and existing projects.
With strong communication skills with
work colleagues and with the media and a philosophy which embraces the evolving market.
A willingness to adapt where appropriate and understand the changing needs of journalists has seen strong media relations
develop over ten years in a variety of markets.
Having
managed and led teams on projects whilst working in an Agency environment, it is vital to get the most out of the people who
support you and work with you at all levels. Understanding what motivates individuals to work well within a team environment
has also contributed to the success of joint campaigns.
Utilising life experiences with how Agency
life operates has meant solid experience has been gained across a diverse range of areas which has been integral to the success
of campaigns worked on for Clients. With a proactive approach to developing and
sustaining press relation programmes and by driving the day to day running of accounts, monitoring results to ensure objective
of the Clients and PR Campaigns are achieved has been vital on all levels. In
addition, proactive identification of new media opportunities for the Client on an ongoing basis has always been a priority
on all campaigns and projects.
